United Way Food Drive
Employees have been generously donating food items.

November & December: Holiday meal kits
Day of Caring
Once a year, MaineHealth/PHO/Synernet participates in United Way Day of Caring. This year, twenty five employees particiapted at three different locations.
America Heart Association's Heart Walk
MaineHealth and PHO is a proud supporter of the American Heart Association's annual Heart Walk. Every May, staff and their families participate in the 3 1/2 mile walk around Portland's Back Bay. Staff raise funds by solicating donations as team captains or participants. This event is always a success and helps to raise thousands for cardiovascular disease prevention.
Go Red Day
In support of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women campaign, MH participates by encouraging staff to dress in red attire and decorate the office. National Go Red for Women day occurs annualy on the first Friday in February and promotes cardiovascular disease awareness for women.
